2016 Catalina 445
The recent price reduction on this boat makes this a great opportunity in a very active market.
This is a very nice 445. Her owners have owned 4 other Catalinas over their sailing years and say that this 445 is by far the best boat they have ever sailed. She has been sailed here on the Chesapeake Bay and she is in excellent condition. She has bow thruster, two zones of air conditioning, 10' RIB with davits and outboard and full cockpit enclosure and electric mainsheet winch. Plan to have a look if you are looking for a nice cruising boat.

The owner's cabin is forward for privacy and optimum ventilation. Private head access from the forward cabin along with a electric head and separate shower complete the forward cabin arrangement. The guest cabin is aft with a large comfortable double berth, angled for easy access and greater headroom. This design incorporates a innovative cabin on the port side. This cabin is a flexible space that can easily be converted to whatever your cruising style dictates at the time-sleeping quarters, storage, or a work room with a bench. The galley has the storage and features needed for extended cruising. There are handrails throughout the boat that make her safer and easier to get around than most any boat around.

DAMN YANKEE came equipped with the Yanmar 4JH57CR-ACD engine. This is a common rail diesel electronically controlled. It run cleaner with fewer smelly exhaust fumes and it runs a bit quieter. This was the first year Catalina used this engine. It now comes standard in all of the larger Catalinas. It is more economical, runs cleaner and runs quieter that earlier mechanical diesels.
The hull 445's hull form is optimized to provide the gentle, predictable motion underway, which is so appreciated in other Catalina models. The deck is strikingly handsome with a low profile cabin structure, twin helm stations and a roomy cockpit with tall, secure comfortable coamings and a cockpit table that seats 4-6. The deck is finished with a traditional diamond-patterned non-skid
