2001 Caliber 40 LRC
2001 Caliber 40 LRC (Long Range Cruiser)
S/V GALLIVANT II
Lots of recent upgrades and ready to cruise now!
If you're in the market for a really spacious cruising boar for a couple, you can't do much better than the fantastic Caliber 40 LRC!
Designer Michael McCreary put a lot of thought into the needs of his customers when the design was first conceived. Things like the watertight forward collision bulkhead, the triple support rudder post system, and water tight rudder damn add a bit of security when your hundreds of miles offshore. S/V GALLIVANT II also features a leisure furl boom which gives the benefit of ease of deploy/reef and maintains the strength, as well as, the sailing characteristics of being a full battened mainsail.
The 40 LRC is set for long distance with an unbelievable 212 gal diesel capacity and 179 gal water capacity, both contained in integral hull tanks below the cabin sole. The boat also features a forward pullman owners stateroom with ample storage, head and separate shower located in the bow and second day head/shower located to starboard just at the bottom of the very easy to navigate companionway stairs.
